A Feng Shui consultation at Brigitte Volder’s house
After Brigitte had gotten positive results using Feng Shui to sell her house (her house was sold for one third more than the expected amount of money!!), she asked a Feng Shui consultation for her new apartment. She wanted to know the potential of her new apartment, what the best destination was for each room, which room was the best to sleep for her and her kids, and she wanted more balance and support in her life.
From the living room, I saw a big pylon. In Feng Shui we call a pylon ‘Sha Chi’. Sha Chi are negative features in the environment that disturb the Chi-flow, such as a sharp corner of another house pointed towards your house, a lamppost straight in front of your main door, a cell tower, pylons, an electricity pole, et cetera. Sha Chi disturbs the Chi-flow and can aggravate problems regarding finances, relationships and health.
When measuring with the Luo Pan (Chinese compass), I saw that this pylon could give back pain for her eldest son and stomach and headache problems for the youngest one as well. Brigitte confirmed that since they live in this apartment, her eldest son has back pain, which he didn’t have before they moved homes. The same for her grandson’s health. The outside of a house determines for a 70% the Feng Shui in the house!
After the consultation, Brigitte received a to do list and hands-on advice:
- Move the bedroom of her eldest son to a room that is more supportive for his health.
- Move her bedroom to another room where she would have more support and leadership in the house and over her four kids.
- The lay-out of the living room had to change, because the way the furniture was placed, blocked the Chi-flow.
- Move the waterfeature to another place.
- and more.
Brigitte did all the changes.
Three months after the consultation, I received this email from Brigitte:
Thanks again for the marvellous consultation. We clearly see improvements. My son Diederick has no back pain anymore! My grandson hasn’t had health issues either since we adjusted our home according to your advice.
We changed the lay-out of the living room too and, as you had said, some emotions have bubbled up and got released. Really amazing.
I changed my bedroom too and moved the waterfeature.
Ever since, I feel that I can take better and quicker decisions.
At first, my son Frederick didn’t wanted to change bedrooms. He was very sceptic regarding Feng Shui. But when he was away for a week, I did moved his things to the new bedroom and the result is that he now wants to stay there. He feels already a lot better.
